That problem I don't have... but then getting any data from users doesn't seem to be working at all for me...
This seem to work on the uplink speed from the hosting user.

dc++ 0.75
Your reported IP: 10.0.0.3 does not match your real IP: 196.**.**.***
[21:08:51] *** Connecting to banarray.pointto.us:8002...
[21:09:13] *** A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.
Thats the error I get connecting
My DC support skills are evidently a bit rusty and since I'm not actually planning on using the hub I'm bowing out at this point BUT I'll leave with a few other possible problem points people might be having.
1) Stop your torrents. Really, stop them. Trying to run DC++ with torrents in the background causes innumerable errors.
2) (Particularly for the filelist and timeout problems) Make sure you're set to DIRECT CONNECTION and NOT passive mode if you can help it. Your ports will need to be forwarded correctly for this mode to work (check the greyed boxes on the right - in apex - to see the appropriate ports to forward) however.
3) Forwarded ports are useless if windows firewall (or another brand) is blocking the dc++ ports. Either configure it or kill it.
4) Just as a general note for if the hub gets up and running nicely, avoid sharing or downloading large amounts of files that are <1mb. Your filelist size not only grows massively when you do this but is also likely to become corrupt and when downloading your whole queue can be corrupted.
I'd link to the hub guide I wrote a few years back but that's mostly got iBurst voodoo tricks about it and would just confuse everyone here. Good luck guys and hope this gets a running start.
Yeah.. it was a fun experience... and its a decent little system, when it works...
BUT I can see some issues with it in terms of data redundancy, since for instance my stuff is all named differently to everyone else.. and I have HD episodes and such....
I think a DC news server is the way to go in my opinion.
