The bean counter in me wonders about that 20% discount though. They are giving us access on 5 Dec, which is roughly 16% of the month gone by. So is the 20% that great?
I guess that if this were a capped product, you would get 16% less bundle and pay 16% less, and alls well.
Would the same logic apply to an uncapped one as well? I am getting 16% less time to download so maybe I should pay 16% less?????

So is it really a discount?

Aaah. Did the bean counter also notice how to get 100% free for January?
 
Said on the FAQ page or something that if you sign up/deactivate/activate basically everything is pro-rata'd on the charges side but the bandwidth is uncapped so it's like infinity - 16% :p (just ignore that 16% of infinity is also infinity)

I agree but might wait a little longer even... no rush. I have ADSL. I have seen a couple of companies come and go already with plenty issues.

We're offering a further discount for referrals. If 5 referrals sign up, you get the next month free.

Its part of the registration process. The subscription process - whereby we collect bank account details and you choose a package - allows for you to nominate the person that referred you.

I think that this might be a little premature and a "bridge too far"

I have only 2 questions for the pros:

1: I know the download speed is 256 but I can't seem to find the upload speed?

2: Referring to your answer in (1), will it be possible to play on Xbox LIVE with those figures and still have sub 100 pings locally?

1) It is an Asynchronous product.
The upload speed is limited by your line speed. I think even the 4Mbps is only at 384kbps. The lower ones are slower. I do speak under correction.

2) It better be!!
