Well its better than 56k at the mo....but i know they working there buts off on this....just hope they get it figured out before end of the month.

Digi Slow

I am on the spicy and nor even getting 1kbs on my MIRC downloads my http: is at about 6 were is what we were promised Dave I have call DC all i get told is we upgrading with has been going on since last week FRIDAY. My VIRGIN MOBILE Broadband is faster on the downloads at 20kbs VODACOM is 56 up to 85kbs
 
Torrents hit a peak of about 12kBps here... But it goes up and down all the time... Like now its in the 2kB range...
 
Ive been getting a pretty consistent 20K occasionally bursting to 30K with astraweb over the last few days.

I just wish youtube and the like were a bit faster as 7-14K is way to slow. It basically makes getting through a video a 20-30 minute wait.

Atleast thing are improving, 95% of my surfing has been on digichilli over the last few days. I only had to change over to afrihost once.

yea browsing seems great. using dc for browsing aswell.... I hope they allocate more bandwidth to news servers in the near future............

It's 32kB guys and gir- err more guys.
(Division by 8 is your friend!)

Anyway, that's definitely good enough for a large portion of us particularly when you look at it from an "over the entire month" perspective in regards to what you can actually download. (That is, at only 256kb you'll get 80gigs and if you're lucky to burst higher....well then that number just goes up)

Even after the recent shaper updates, World of Warcraft is still shyte as ever.
 
What i thing DC should do is remove all the 512ers and 4meggers out the spicy package. I think they are spoiling everything. IMHO

I think you are confused. Why should I be responsible to shape usage, that job sits with the ISP selling that service.

I use chilli just on astraweb, at slow speeds, and the other 3.5MB of my line on aother accoounts for all other browsing.

so why should i not be allowed to use a supposedly limmited service on my line?

how the flying fck are they spoiling everything? are you somewhat stupid or something? everyone get limited, everyones download speeds suck ass, omg go google logic and get some.
