DigiChilli January Status and feedback

RS running but stops at 98,99% as soon as only 1 connection is used (similar to a sigle threat download) then RS can finish file, effectively stopping all downloads. Does not happen when i switch to AFRI
 
First of all this is just my opinion.

Can't DigiChilli create another Uncapped Package that is 384kbps without Busrsting and allow us to do what we want with it, whether it be downloading, streaming or browsing and get the full 384kbps speed.

From what I understand(I may be wrong and please correct me if I am) it has been the inconsistent bursting that has been having a negative impact on everyone using Digichilli.

Rapidshare has been shaped to hell and if the speeds haven't increased to between 256kbps and 384kbps by Tuesday, I will not be using Digichilli anymore.
Using a payed for Premium Rapidshare account to download and only getting 100mb every 2-3 hours is pretty pathetic and not really worth it. :mad:
Beginning of the month was Fantastic but the past week the service has just gone down the crapper.
Dave told us that the Rapidshare speeds would get better but when can we expect it to happen? I haven't noticed any substantial increase in speeds since RS has been shaped especially afterhours. :(

There are only 14 days left and I'm not signing up again if these problems continue.
 
Does any body else get to 100% download on RS wth DC? i am using IDM and not jownloader as a manager

I'm using miPony now since jDownloader was getting a bit fragile with the constant disconnects on DC's network.

miPony has only managed to get one file up to 36% since last night. At 10kB/s it is to be expected :(
 
If you guys are interested there's an app called Mdownloader that downloads from a host of file hosting sites, can resume from some of them. It seems to work ok, http://mdownloader.codeplex.com/, not sure how it compares to the others you've mentioned.

Using IDM I was lucky enough to get my full line Speed(384) for 2-3 hours once this whole week. Before RS was included into the shaper I was getting great speeds but now I'm lucky if my speeds hit 10KB/s during the day, then at 20:00pm I get a bit of a boost( around 20-30KB/s) till midnight then the connection either dies or slows down to 0-10kbps.
Last night it took me 6 hours to get 200mb's.

Spicy with 384 line.

I use 2 connections when I download from Rapidshare in IDM getting a fluctuating speed between 0-8KB/s each and before the shaper I got 20KB/s each.

Yes, they do finish downloading.
 
I see Afrihost is offering R14.50 per gig again. Good news for the DC users when you have your down times. :)

Hope DC comes right soon after all their prices are really great. I think they will when everyone starts getting bored of downloading and start easing up on usage after all uncapped is here to stay :D

When I first got uncapped from Axxess I downloaded 24/7 for 2-3 month, now to be honest I seldom do more than 7 hrs a day (currently with SAOL).

Hang in there DC guys, when people start reaching this point I am sure your internet experience will really improve.
 
question to all those that use rapidshare. Where are you getting your downloads from and searching to find what you want. I've looked at that before, found a few sketchy sites that index it, but found NZB's to have higher speeds and so easy to sort through with sites that comment on quality & viruses. Seems 75% of rapid share files I download have trojans. Yet so many on hear seem to refer rapidshare premium accounts which is the same price as a newsgroup account.

everything is working fine, just can't send via gmail, anyone having the same problem?
