Amarjits mentioned that he was not happy with the speeds being close to what they should be...Here are the telkom tests...384kbps line and I'm not getting the speed I pay for.

That's why it's called "Best Effort Service"...

On DC Uncapped, I get almost the same speeds...4-5KBps less...For R300 per month...

So, the MyConnection PC program, always gives the average speed, between 0 and the highest steady part, if there is a drop to 0, as seen with the test.
