Peak torrent speed for me this morning was 6KB/s. The last time I saw speeds like that, I was still on 56k dialup.

The only thing thats keeping me to bare with dc is the uncapped part, if i could get the speeds of my other isp's that would be great

I use Firefox with Tab Mix Plus. There's an option to auto-refresh a tab on a timed interval.

Are you guys getting a PAP Authentication Error? (or red light on the netgear router)

how can you tell from the nedgear routers what error it gets? where do you see this?

If you go to the router login site, routerlogin.com , and go to router status on the left hand side and then go connection status and that should tell you what error it is...

I get authentication failed when i try to log on... and their helpline keeps dropping the calls... wtf

I have a Belkin wireless router so wouldn't know if I have log in problems......

all I know is that if I have a red light instead of a green then I have no net.....

if all the lights are green then I have net but with DC the lights can all be green and I am unable to browse,download etc.......

You can tell its an authentication error if you can not login to userstats.adsl.saix.net.

Well guess I'm one of the lucky ones, I've been able to connect the whole night but gave up coz of k@k download speeds

BUT! Woke up at seven and once again getting full line speed on http + spiking over 40KB/s again

Sadly torrents reach a max of 10KB/s, pidgin works, streaming audio works. Haven't tried youtube yet but got s feeling it's working.

I'm connecting through PPPoE not my router - If that helps any one.

cannot understand why some people can connect and other cant. maybe it gets cleard out soon.
