Well even with that in the 6 hours I got I managed to pull just a little over 600mb's from medifire from 12am to 6am. That's with speed going up and down
A bit off & on topic here but When I appled for ADSl I asked about what speed increases we were looking at and was supplied with "384 and 512 will be falling away completely". So now I'm wondering IF by April/May when we get higher speeds (hopefully) will the DC packages be restructed accordingly? Or maybe just maybe we'll see some Full Line Speed After Hours
That won't happen, without a price increase imo. They have x amount of bandwidth which the pay y for. They provision it into z number of accounts at particular speeds which they sell at w amount.
If they up the speed of the packages they will have to increase prices or absorb the additional cost themselves. (Who would do that?) I could be wrong and that would be great but I wouldn't count on it.
At most they'll release a package that goes up to 8mb when those lines are abundant. I'd still be happy with 256k for R300pm if my line speed increases. Just would get a little bit of cap from another provider for when I wanted a turn of speed.
