DigiChilli January Status and feedback

Scam or no scam , I am not getting what I paid for....and its beginning to irritate the $h1t out of me.....

I think I have been more than tolerant with all the issues I have been having since joining in December:

1) Gtalk issues
2) Skype issues
3) slow torrents
4) slow HTTP browsing
5) dead HTTPS
6) Slow FTP
7) VPN issues
8) Unannounced Downtime & no connectivity
9) Call centre which is non-existant to me
10) News issues
11) Youtube streaming issues
12) Shoutcast issues
13) Xbox Live issues
14) slow HTTP downloads

Dave & Co. might be trying their best and having late nights, etc etc......but thats not what I want. I dont want them to work their butts off .....I just want a d@mn connection that works when I need it to. After all, thats the sole reason I am paying.

I get your point but, telkom can be blaimed 80% of the downtime and issues we had these couple of days...We are all in the same boat and feel were not getting what was promised on their sites...Hang in there buddy.

I work in a big call centre enviroment, and most of the time the lack of staff and poor service from telkom is to blame for 100% of the issue we have had.

Thanks for that dose of reality ..... I guess you're right. What bothers me is that these problems didnt only start a few days ago.....they just got worse.

Someone from DC just called me......apparently, there were no calls when I was trying get through to them. They put it down to technical issues with me getting through to them. I tried calling them from MTN, Vodacom and my landline....all just say "number busy". Does anybody else have this problem? I must have tried > 20 times in the past 30 mins with no luck.

Anyway, I still cant connect - and I cant call 'em back - sent an email hoping it gets to the same techie.

DC called me back - they say there is a problem on their side. I have to wait till a techie gets to check out my account....and they will call me back. I sure hope so, as I cant call them at all.

Oh well, back to my "other" ISP for now.

I could'nt get through to them either. But they called me back. I assume they checked my email I sent to the call centre.

Do you also just get "Number busy" each time you try?

Oh FFS, why are certain pages (i.e. Rapidshare) being blocked from DigiChilli but available from my Axxess account :mad:

up again. browsing sloow. DC needs to set up a proxy; saix at least is much faster with proxy in firefox than without.

Okay, my rapidshare downloads are back up and running.

Some of my RS links are working but most are not ... as soon as I click on the link as either a Free User or a Premium User I get a "Connection was reset" message in FF.

When I connect using my Axxess account, same page, hit F5 to refresh and I get the download screen.
