Dave - thanks for the update. I am pleased to say the conncection is a lot better today. Web browing feels almost normal for a 384K line.

I would love to see the torrents downloading at a full 40KBps like any other ISP. Also, HTTP downloads are still slow @ 15KBps......thats 2.5 times slow than it should be. Dont mean to sound ungateful but these are the issues which need to be address to retain my as a client.

However, I have received my Invoice for Jan today - I will be paying and sticking around for another month. Hopeing things get even better than they currently are.

Kudos to you guys for the additional 20% discount.

Quick update and then you will see me again when ALL the DC issues are sorted out.

Got an account today from Screamer, torrents etc are going over 40kbps so bye bye DC until further notice.

Will cancel my DC account tomorrow.

FYI : Screamer REFUSED my account because they did not have enough bandwidth to allocate to me, should DC not have done the same?!

Secondlife still does not want to log in, but seems to get a little further than before. It now just hangs, instead of cutting the connection and telling me there is a fault with the connection.

MyConnection PC program still shows errors.

Try rebooting the pc and resetting the router by switch off/on and relogging at 10.0.0.2.
 
Just a question...

My News Server downloads are stuffed. Doesn't want to connect (got a CheaperNews acc). What's the deal?

Can you fix that please? (Works on on my other accounts)

I just checked that ...."Flying" is a bit of a hyperbole......

Its not crawling on my side, but certainly not "flying"...... I will take any improvement at this point though, thank you.
