DigiChilli January Status and feedback

I am also sticking with them for the time being. There are a load of things that i can compain about, and i probably do complain a lot, BUT you get what you pay for, and paying R300 for uncapped is a cheap service. Cant expect to get a R1000 service for R300.

I got just over 30gig on my account for the month, translating to less than R10/gig... I can live with that.
 
I wanted to give my DC account to a friend for the rest of the month but i realized, friends dont let friends use digichilli! If friends do that kinda thing who needs enemies??
 
Digichilli dead and deep fried on my side, rebooting modem lets see if it'll work now =/
 
Has anyone been able to get hold of the DC Call Center? All I get is an engaged tone? Not sure if that is a good/bad thing? LOL.

My everything speed has just improved, anybody else getting this? And yes torrents are WORKING :D
 
ping responces from my router has improved in the last 1.5 hours. The whole weekend I had time outs. everythings seems alot better now.
 
Spoke too soon :( Torrents are okay maxing out at +- 25kB/s but HTTP is crawling along at 20kB/s *sometimes* getting close to 30kB/s but dropping as quickly as it bursts up there, on the bright side audio streaming is working so is pidgin :)

It's a slight improvement I guess... :confused:
 
support on skype says the personal pipe thing has been implemented. But still I can't log into steam and torrents are still below 10 kB/s.

Torrents 25kb/s

Is anyone still getting any burst? Is there any feedback on this?

I am sitting on 250kb/s(30kB/s) 24/7 for the last week now.

Same here Torrents never above 10KB/s and all that I do is Torrents and the odd browsing... Also skype is on 24/7 but I don't skype 24/7... AI!

I'd say unlucky for now, while DC is stable I'm not getting near the 32kB/s on http or torrents :cry: But this is a new system and I'm willing to give it time. While it's sad that we're only getting a 256kbps line I'm pretty sure DC might change that in the near future when all their tweaks and glitches are done and gone.

Dave now is the time for an update, we need to know whats going on and what we can expect in the near future from DC. Congrats with at least getting this little step forward :p
 
I agree. Dave any update on your plans would be nice, also to know if you are still with the chilli team.

Well said!! It is a new system and I am also willing to give it time... Hopefully DC might change for a better line and still give us a stable and bursting line...

I just wish we could get an update from Dave! now is the TIME for one.
