this is weird,
I got a digi Mild.
Home 384 line torrent are running bout 30k/s
work 4mb line torrent are running at about 4k/s
both are downloading tv series with lots of seeders, anyone can explain?
 
I started a download of 3DMark06 started the download 6 hours and 48 minutes ago the file is 586.34MB and it has 9 hours left to download :(. This is off a server in France I might add oh and it is single threaded with 1 connection to server. :(

Torrents have also nose dived...
 
torrents are out of the question for me :( im surprised yourll are even gettin access to them

ok just tried torrents. only gettin like 2KBps and its well seeded. oh well im sure DC's working on this

Can anybody tell me how I go about cancelling my DC acccess?
I only paid for December via EFT. Do I need to give notice or do I just not pay next month?

I'm strongly considering moving to another uncapped ISP. Using prepaid while DC is sorting out their issues is getting rather costly.

Any advice would be appreciated.
 
When I had 384 I got up to 30kb with int torrents and up to 49kb with SA torrents

In the control panel on their website is the "cool down" feature. I'm cancelling mine Friday if they don't get their stuff sorted.

Thanks TelkomUseless. What would be the ideal time to "cool down" in order to move to a new account on 01 Jan?

No problem HoodRich. I haven't checked, but as I understood, when you "cool" down .. then they don't bill the next month. So I presume if you cancel now, then you should be safe for 1 Jan.

But I'm not 100% sure.

You can re-activate the DC account later again.

Edit:
From their site:
restrictive contracts, you pay month by month. So if you need to cool down a little with a trip away, then you can take a break and reconnect on your return with no hassle! You can also choose at any time to change to one of the other options if you need a different connection, with a little more or less voomah!
 
Thanks again man - I'll do my groundwork on other ISP's in the interim.

torrents fluctuate. i min its 12 KBps now its like 6KBps, but still nothing close to what you were gettin:cry:.

but im sure it will be better by tomorrow hopefully.

That is my problem.. hopefully tomorrow... and nothing happens (what I can see)
 
Can't even log into Secondlife right now.

Browsing MyBB is fast.

Edit: Managed to log in, but still very slow and it just logs me out still, if I try to teleport.

International browsing is very slow.
