My VPN connected today for the first time, but too slow to receive any mail or access any of my company's internal systems.

Audio streaming still going strong though. Tried to access nvidia.com. Very slow opening the page.

My status:

Steam connects and downloads at ~128Kbit/s
Youtube single stream fluctuates between 35Kbit/s and 70Kbit/s
HTTP Local download single segment fluctuates between 35Kbit/s and 70Kbit/s
HTTP Local download four segments fluctuates between 188Kbit/s and 240Kbit/s
HTTP Int download single segment fluctuates between 35Kbit/s and 70Kbit/s
HTTP Int download four segments fluctuates between 188Kbit/s and 240Kbit/s

I have not tried WoW because I know at the above speeds it will be rediculous.

Clearly there is some major shaping happening at the moment as even the local download speeds have dropped greatly.
This is still not even near a working service as far as Im concerened as I did not get my minimum garaunteed speed in any of the tests I did.

Mine is even worse. Still can't do any browsing at all, keep getting error to load pages. Torrents are completely dead now. Can't do a 17kb windows update. o.X

Oh sweet, I had completely given up trying out audio streaming as it never worked every time I tried. Seems to be working great now. :D

Interesting, audio streaming peaks at full line speed

Ok, Xbox360 connects with PPPoE to the internet with no problem but cannot connect to Xbox Live ie fails the last part of the built in network test.

Says something about not responding correctly to ICMP messages.

Nvidia.com is always slow - On my 4 meg line too nothing to do with DC

PS2/3

Got our PS3 here. The Xbox we borrowed to test is chipped. Will it still work as a test?

Will look into the ICMP though. Not nice to try and push stuff through there.

Dave, Chipped / Flashed XBOX ... Not on XBOX live I'm afraid ... unless you running some sort of stealth protection.

:p

Oh, i can average 20-30kb/s on torrents (if i have ALOT of them running), but I'm thinking on a single torrent.

I hop over to my Afrihost account and most torrents come in at 100-150kb/s, just want DC to let me get about 30kb/s on a single torrent then the service will be well worth it in my opinion.

I get 20-30KBps on a single torrent now and then. But the now and then has become a little less often now.

Got a quick responce from Dave, all my issues resolved as below.

Rapidshare is now coming in at full speed, must have been something at the time. Very happy with that.
Skype is now 100%, likely related to the issue at the time. (nothing else running on the network at the time)
MSN is cool
Tryed Shoutcast via its web player, and withMedia Monkey. Quite a bit of stutter. It runs on Port 80. Winamp work perfect! I guess it just buffers and requests the data in a way Digichilli understands.
General web is also cool now. Something must have been playing havoc at the time.

All in all, this is great. Torrents will be the next big thing to imporve, but since using Rapidshare, torrents are not as hot as they made out to be.

KEEP IT UP, this is rocking!

Things working reasonably well:

Browsing - Quite responsive, but still seems to be hindered by speed limiting.
Audio Streaming - works 100% from what I can tell.
Steam - Logs in, downloads. Speeds not too great (peaks at 17KB). Could just be a result of steam sales though.

Things not really working:

Gaming - any data transferred here seems to be heavily throttled or something is broken. Log in servers work but everything dies as soon as an attempt is made to connect to game server.
Torrents - not really concerned about this, but it seems 99% dead unless a DC seeder is online.
Email (Pop3) - Takes a terribly long time to check for new messages. Often times out.

Ok, I reckon I've figured out why my torrents have nose dived....

I have a Technet download running that kicked in on its own... coming down at 30kb/s... so all in all pretty good atm.
