Digital TV conditional access war must stop: Carrim

DStv is against conditional access, while e.tv supports it.
Why is DSTV which is mainly sattelite based involved in this question of conditional access of DTT?
Why do they want DTT reception to be unconditional when their own service is not?

Conditional access design provides the free to air broadcasters with an advantage of the pay tv broadcasters. When it appeared that Sentech would be incontrol of conditional access DsTV was not nearly as worried as after SABC and eTV gained control.

They have already wasted money, just drop this dtt stuff and go satellite.
