DirectX 11 available for Windows Vista SP2

Hi everyone

For anyone who is running Vista and happy with it (like myself), DirectX 11 is now available for download. You need Service Pack 2.

The download is available here

Anandtech has done some quick testing, and has found no perfomance difference yet between Vista and 7, and DX10 still runs the same.

Comes through automatically on windows updates - if you have it on, that is.

I am still very happy with Vista on my Home PC, its only really on entry level laptops that I find it rather slow..

i have also bought a vista home premium as it came out, but thank goodness its now win7. costly, but well worth it; nice to assume it's always the pirates who says such things as seriously who is going to still use vista when win7 is clearly better ?

Guys, this isn't about Vista vs 7, if you are happy on Vista then this is a nice update.

I wonder when Media Player 12 will be released.
