Does anyone know how to disable the two-factor authentication for Luno using the backup codes? My phone was stolen and I have tried everything to gain access to my account with no success. It has been a week now since I logged a ticket with Luno and no action at all from Luno.

Following their instructions on 'automated two-factor authentication reset' still requires their team member to contact you but no one contacted me a week later.

You can do it on their website. You have to request for it to be removed via the forgot password page if I'm not mistaken

I did it a month ago and took about 5 working days.

Always keep your 2fa code written down somewhere.

You didn't backup your google authenticator keys? because if you did you can just restore the authenticator, then login to Luno and disable 2fa

You can go into your 2FA authentication app and add a 2FA account using your key/code.
