Why is there 231 ms ping at iBurst?
 
Im getting disconnects again and quite alot, can this be looked into please?
 
Have been getting alot of Disconnects aswell. (CPT Airport Area)

I 1st thought the disconnects could be due to being capped.
 
I had series of disconnects tonight and now lost total internet connection, cant browse or do anything, but iburst is still connected. What on earth is going on???? :mad:

Connection returned a few minutes ago, after being down for about an hour here.

Got the following notice from MTN Business (Ex Verizon) on the 17th ....

Maybe iBurst should also let clients know ?

ADDITIONAL: Please note that IBurst will be doing an emergency firmware
change on their core switches on Sunday 19th April 2009 at midnight.
During the maintenance all Broadlink circuits will be affected for the
duration of the maintenance. The expected downtime during the maintenance
is 15 to 30 minutes in which case there will be loss of connectivity.
MTN Business and IBurst apologize for the inconvenience caused.

Base station outage?

Looks like another switch outage at around 19:10 here, since I got a ping into iBurst but no further...

It's time to get rid of this useless company - 4 years of the worst service ever is more than enough!

+1. They were cool in the begining but after changing bundle prices and not informing the masses and shaping it's service without mention, switching to 4mbps ADSL next month doesn't sound so bad.
