Grim : I have the same problem of having to reset the hardware to reconnect. I'm using ethernet and not usb.

That problem seems to be happening very little now. I had one disconnection that didnt connect itself again yesterday, but otherwise fine for about 2 weeks. I want to use USB because of the iBurst utility.... it just gives peace of mind. 
Is it actually useful for checking your current connection speed or is it inaccurate in some way?
