Capacity upgrades are currently underway. We are hoping from this week, you will start experiencing improvements and less disconnection issues. Keep us posted.

How long will this take and will there be any downtime whatsoever. Hopefully users will be impacted during midnight.

This will take place during the course of this week. There wont be major disruptions. I will be monitoring this threads, for any improvements with regards to dropped calls and disconnection issues... *DM*

Can you tell us in which areas these capacity upgrades are taking place?

 The recent complaints of frequent disconnects in this thread and this thread all seem to be in the Cape Town area.

No disconnections for me for over 10 hours since this morning. Yesterday I was being disconnected every few minutes.

And I would like to add, peak time speed speeds are excellent compared to a few weeks ago.

Hi ahf, Let us know if the problem still persists today. *DM*

In the KOSH area (Stilfontein) the service is on a down ward spiral data and voice cant make or receive calls
Data tower ID 60583 .. If I down load even a small file it has errors. Tower ID 13742 ...disconnects every 2 minutes
Down load speed has dropped dramatically in the last two weeks

In La Lucia Durban today I cannot make phone calls. It doesn't even ring. SMS's work fine, as I get sms's about missed calls.

Disconnected heavily this weekend. Latency was at a all time low. Usually quite good, but with congestion and weather, things just get bad.
