No problem with signal.
No problem connecting.

But all afternoon I'm getting disconnects like crazy.
And it's driving me crazy. I keep having to re-enter data!

What's up?
Durban North area.

I have the exact same problem on my desktop but when I use the card on my laptop it works fine?

Oh well. Better today - although I did get a disconnent in the middle of a rather large file transfer when I was 2/3 through. :(

No more disconnects. It just takes minutes and three attempts to load a simple page. Thanks for all the stress Vodacom!!!

And now everything's flying. When it's good, it's really good. When it's bad - oh boy!

Having frequent disconnects all morning.

Is there any way to force the connection to stay alive. I read something about constant pinging. Does this work? Is there an app that will do this?

Yup in City Bowl Cape Town - can connect but if the connection is idle for more than +- 1 minute i have to reconnect

And i don't really want to use something to keep the connection alive as this is using my data to keep a piss poor service up and running

Its been two weeks now - pick up your game Vodacom !

Disconnect...cant even connect

Duno whats up today, I cant connect via 3G, i get error 31 or error 619.
I have had this before but usually I just re-create the profile on the dash software, today it no work...

I can confirm that i have managed to stay connected for 45 minutes - thanks for feedback 3g, as always on your game !

Any idea what actually causes this ?

I am also getting these disconnects. Somerset West, Bridgewater area. Anyone know what is going on? It is not the same as the old problem where the DL just dies, but the connection stays on.

My conspiracy theory is that this is how they push up the billing ..... shake a few towers and disconnect the users, let them start their downloads again.

Whatever you do, don't ask them for a refund. It might be considerably easier to get ARV's from the Dept of Health.

Same symptoms as before?

I've been connected for just over 6 hours, getting about 400Kb/s at the moment.

The problem we saw the last few days should affect all users. Are you in your normal area?
