Oh, then I gotta hope that comes to Platinum!
According to their site it is… But it’s been saying that for months.

My savings aren’t that high but the minimum requirements don’t seem to be different from Black. So far, the only difference I see is the lower interest on my credit cardI think I’ll make change as well soon. Are you still on diamond. I’m sure you will need extra savings.
I don’t but if they downgrade me to black, I won’t mind. We’ll see in a year lolI’m a bit worried about the income requirement. Surely your banker will realise if you don’t earn R2.5mil pa? Unless you do, of course.
and hows your private banking. Is it like investecMy savings aren’t that high but the minimum requirements don’t seem to be different from Black. So far, the only difference I see is the lower interest on my credit card
Here you go. You can compare the different colours and see if it will work for you.I am currently on a gold account with Discovery Bank and they are wanting me to upgrade to black. Are there any upsides / downsides to this? Right now I have no reason to upgrade but if I am missing out on something then I might want to upgrade.
Just do both.Decided to take the plunge, starting out on Gold suite. I'll see how Dmiles compares to eBucks.
Just do both.
I find the ebucks rewards much higher, but I enjoy the gamification of discovery miles.
Really? I'm finding Miles to be much more work, but much more lucrative. 15% back at Checkers vs 40% at PnP, and better fuel earn as well. And then the 20% (or 40%) discount.
I'm fed up with eBucks since there’s no routine to 40% discounts. I can never predict whether I should just spend them or wait (and wait and wait).
Can you not just upgrade on the app? I upgraded to black for lounge visits - took like 1 min and got a call later to schedule the card delivery.Barely a month with them and I'm already disappointed. I was signed up for the transactional account instead of the suite, I requested to assist with the suite upgrade and no response or assistance for 2 days now. The option to add a credit card is greyed out. Also, the bank feeds don't work in 22seven or any bookkeeping suite and a fix is still in the works.
Slick branding and app but lacking trustworthiness and support.
Ah yeah sorry probably need to do a credit check etc. I find them very risk averse when it comes to giving out credit. I would just call them, its pretty quick generally. No, I called, and then asked why on twitter and they told me it's because I'm on a Gold transactional account.
Response with spelling mistakes included:

Apologies if this has been asked before: Is there any easy way to upgrade from just credit card account to full bank suite? I'm thinking the additional 10% on the 15th will offset the extra cost for the suite option
Thanks! I see that now on the app. So I can just add a transaction account, and it would automatically adjust my pricing to full bank suite? Seems too easy for anything discovery relatedOption is on the app - I did it but can’t remember exactly how. Try “Accounts” and then the three dots in the top right corner.

I got annoyed with the new app notifications and just disabled the badge notifications for the app on iPhone. As far as I know the functionality is also available on androidWhy does Discovery Bank feel that it is necessary to inform me 3 times about every transaction?
Sms, email and now in-app notifications. Is there any way to disable 2 of the 3 methods?
