Correct, 1st car I am the primary driver and 2nd car my wife.

Have been getting seperate feul rewards for both for the last 5 years, that is until today.

Why is it always Sh@t show when Discovery changes something, feels like we are the Beta testers.

Drive dashboard also a mess, haven't been allocated any points since 29 November (either showing as zero or if the points are showing it remains unallocated)

Is this for HealthyFood (WW / PnP) and HealthyCare (Clicks / Dischem)?
1. Complete your health check,
2. get to discovery bank diamond (this is very easy but there is a savings requirement too)
3. buy items with the vitality logo and you should start earning.
4. Wait for miles

I only joined in July though so no expert

Been doing this so far but seems the el’cheapo Gold card might not be the move. Most of my spend is from Baby City and a smaller portion from Woolies.

Do I get money back on the swiping portion though or the Vitality portion.

Looks like it's quite limited if you don't have the credit card or the bundle package. If you have the bundle and spend at least R12.5k on your gold credit card pm, you'll get back 40% on HF and HC items. You're probably only getting the 25% back VH now.

I need help please. I may need to pay someone (they have an FNB account) for an extended period of time.
I am wanting those payments to contribute towards my spend goal. I know that EFTs and auto payments do not contribute towards my spend goal. Is there another way I could pay them so that I could have those payments count towards my goal?

Unless they have a card machine linked to their FNB account ala Yoco there isn’t a way to do this :/

Maybe go half/half with them for this purpose?

Barter. Ask them if they need anything that uses a credit card. Like payment of electricity, online shopping instead of eft.

Other ways cost a % as transaction fee.

I’m also considering adding a virtual card with a spend limit that’s equal to the value I need to pay them.. which they can add onto their phone and use to pay. This is because it’s someone I know personally.. I’d probably just need to keep them updated on their available spend. What do you guys think?

This would be a good option but would they not be losing out on eBucks on their end? If not, virtual card with a spend limit per month seems to be the best option

They would be.. but apparently FNB keeps moving the eBucks goalpost every year with new and pointless requirements so that might not be too big of a dealbreaker.. but I’ll ask just to make sure.
 
I got so angry with PnP on the weekend, with their rude staff, that I moved my primary Healthy food provider to WW. But got me thinking. Is there any news of vitality and checkers? Last saw a September article saying it’s coming…

It won't happen fnb is the partner for checkers. At fnb they don't judge you they give you ebucks for unhealthy food and paying bills

Did anyone get this notification? I followed the prompts to set it up but then it doesn't have Discovery Bank listed and I don't bank with anyone else.

Don’t know why they don’t have themselves on the list ??


Log in to the banking app.
Tap Accounts.
Select your Discovery Bank credit card.
Tap on the Discovery Bank credit card at the top of the screen to see your Account Details page.
Tap on the top-right corner and select Add debit order.
Select the account you want to pay your credit card from

Rules and products change yearly. Its a lifestyle... not pointless requirements. If you want free money, some effort is required.
