What happened to the people who work at Discovery that were active in this thread? Surely they can shed some light on Discovery Miles?

Their app and website is down . what did FNB do to you? Here I'm.thinking about leaving disc to join fnbJust got an invite. Just after FNB pissed me off. One issue though. The app crashes when I go to "Join the Bank". Did this happen to anyone else?
The site is back up but I'm still having issues with the app. I might just stop the whole process if this continues.Their app and website is down . what did FNB do to you? Here I'm.thinking about leaving disc to join fnb

Any ideas about the apple watch benefit, and which account you need ? Is it available yet?
Mine said take off my cap and then it just went through with it anyways; whilst I was walking to go to a different room with better lighting. Its kind of stupid. So I got the invite, installed the app, got as far as the selfie stage, and then because I have a beard it refuses to progress and just states "uncover your face".
I guess I'm not going to be trying out Discovery Bank.

Ok so I finally think I get it.I have two.also completed a retirement assessment,I'll get my points (I assume getting points works towards your money status) my other goal is to deposit R3500 into their savings account which I'm not interested in doing.
Eve. If I get to diamond money status I won't get much coach back(more than the 25 %) as my cc spend is too low. So what's the point??
Ok so I finally think I get it.
I chose Gold - and am on gold status based on info I supplied. I have zero spend on the card and therefore get zero benefit in terms of healthyfood increase. They told me I have to get to 15k to get 11% extra back. Or move to diamond status to get 15%. OR (when they enable or develop functionality) migrate to platinum or black to get to 25% increase in healthy food but this comes with increased minimum spend.
So unless I do some of the above, there is no point to me having a discovery bank card. And I don’t see myself moving spend as that will detract from my ebucks rewards etc.
Am I right?
Cos then I think I throw in the towel now and just do my “health” vitality benefit which is paying off quite nicely.
I have a beard but i was told to blink slowly several times. I think it went through around the 10th time i tried registering

What do you mean by you have to get to 15k to get 11% extra back? Do you mean 15k spending or 15k saving?
Its [email protected] but good luck getting a response. Just call rather.Does Discovery Bank Have An Email Adress?
This sounds like Standard Bank Ucount rewards. You need to spend a certain amount of money every month before you get the advertised rewards. I ended up joining FNB instead back then.Hi, below is the reply I got from Disco bank. Maybe someone using the bank here can confirm?
Email:
You currently have the Gold Transaction Account and are on Gold Vitality Money status therefore you qualify for up to 11% for HealthyFood depending on your monthly spend (minimum is R15 000 per month spend). You can push it up to 15% if you move your Vitality Money status to Diamond, with the same spend band.
In order for you to get up to 25% you would need to have either a Platinum or Black card, be on Diamond Vitality Money status and spend a minimum of R25 000 (on Platinum) or R45 000 (on Black).
At this moment we do not have the functionality to upgrade clients card colours, however you will be notified as soon as this option is available.
