So im a Discovery Vitality Gold member!!:D
Whats the best benefits to make use of?
 
That's quite a feat, I'm a blue member. (I think)
Where'd you hack into for that status!

45% of for Sun International Resorts... food, clothes, toys etc etc....

Mmm only sunglasses and Sun International seems good to try out, 40% of SELECTED Sony products...

Maybe ill try a free flight to CT and visit a Sun International Resort:)

Eish I though Gold was the highest, but now theres Diamond status... Bleh!!
Maybe after Walk the Talk ill be on Diamond!:D
 
Sorry to burst you clearly excited bubble but it's Southern Sun hotels not Sun International. Yep, there's a huge difference between the two :(

Dunno how you managed it, it takes serious graft to get through those bloody Vitality levels. If it was me I'd go wild on the Sony products and travelling discounts. You also get large discounts if you have a Discovery Card when you shop at PnP.
 
It would be great if i used any of that but i don't so saving on a Southern Sun hotel would serve me no purpose.

LOL @ the diamond status.

Hmmm yip its Southern Sun.. still a decent holiday...
Yip going through the list now, lots available, PS3 is number 1 atm... then there a home theatre... LCDs, Dell XPS laptop with 45% discount it comes to R8000!!

Dunno how I managed it, ive always been on Silver, lots of pap smears hahaha just kidding!:o
I think its gym, wellness days, optometrists and I went to the dentist, guess it all adds up...
 
My fav's benefits are:
Big discount on their 'healthy' food range from Pick 'n Pay (25% I believe) and the cheap flights.
I assume you know about the Vitality Mall on www.discovery.co.za? Great place to look for bargains (they even sell Mac's!)
 
It resets every year though? Back to Blue?

Then will take 6 months to get up to a decent status - and leave you 6 months to enjoy all the discounts?

Virgin Active lifetime membership is great of course
PnP healthy foods can potentially make the account pay for itself.
Also they have lots of discounts on baby stuff at Dischem.
 
I booked thru Vitality for Southern Sun resort (Drakensberg Sun) paid R3150 - it has to include a wed so booked from the Wed to the Sunday - the price includes Dinner, bed and breakfast. I called the resort and asked them if i walk through the door and request a price for the same as above - how much....R8000 !!!
 
If you havent gained enough points to maintain the level assuming you higher than blue then yes u will lose the status as only 25% gets carried over to the next year.
That's why u have to work at getting as many points as possible to either move up a level or maintain it.
U have to be on Gold status for a period of 3 years in a row before you can go move up to Diamond status.
 
so what does that card do ? is it like a credit card and you get the bill at the end of the month ?? i'm still a bit confused with it... earning points ???
 
get 25% off your international airfare with BA using discovery, you have to book it on the Kalula website though.

Not really, its easy, they tell you what you need to do to get points, how hard can it be?
