I snapped my achilles tendon and was unable to walk for months - when I phoned the call center to find out what my options are, they basically told me that nothing can be done.
 
Is there anyone on Vitality Open that can actually view their activity history?

I keep getting the error below. No clue if my gym visits are pulling through.

Working fine for me, but I have had the same problem in the past. Seems to sort itself out eventually.
 
If you don't have car insurance through Discovery(but you have vitality), how does Vitality Drive work?

I can't figure it out from the website or from. Googling or from this here forum...

Any advice much appreciated.

Guess you will just qualify for the weekly reward during the Vitality Open period if you achieve your weekly driving goals.
 
I downloaded the Discovery Insure app this morning, above my trip it still says "Waiting for Wifi". I have been connected to very good wifi for about 4 hours already though.

When it eventually records my trip I will let you know if it affects my vitality at all.

So is the fact that Vitality Drive is open to people who don't have Discovery Insure only because there is the Vitality Open or can you have Vitality Drive despite the Vitality Open, if you have Vitality (but not Discovery Insure)?
 
My trips show as recording. Then when it uploads, it shows are "scoring" and then the trips disappear and I never get any points for it.

Yes my understanding is that Vitality Drive is only there for people without Discovery Insure during the period of the Vitality Open.

You could of course always phone them to confirm.

What phone do you have? I see there are people complaining about the app not working with certain Android models.

Now that you mention it, with the previous open vitality drive I was using a Sony Xperia Z1 and that worked...

But I added the insure drive app to the protected apps so dont think its that. It actually does record the trip, can even see the whole map with my route, just that its goes missing after uploading.

Yes. I have found a link on the website. Vitality drive only available for the top end medical aid packages. Or any discovery insurance plan.
