Have 50/50 uncapped fibre, but Disney buffering on smart TV. Quite annoying. Contacted support told to unplug TV and restart, really? Couldn’t find stream setting to lower quality only on phone under downloads. Any help would be appreciated/ why isn’t Disney fixing this? If its not sorted will just cancel subscription before month end… which I’m sure most people will do too. Not a great start when trying a new app.

Also have this issue, although it isn't as frequent recently, when I contacted Disney they said it was a known issue and they are working on it.

I have 100/100 uncapped fibre and frequently experiencing buffering. Agree, very annoying and from a well known, world famous company, this should not be an issue. I guess they did not do proper testing before release or, as per usual, we get the rejects after other countries got the best/ first picks.

I'm on 200mbps and Disney is atrocious. It was a nice experiment for a month but the stream quality is dire and I'll cancel until they resolve it.

Andor and The Old Man were almost worth the 119 bucks but not when you get buffering every 10 minutes.

i also noticed buffering started recently on disney+, been fine until now, also on a 50/50 line.
have to change the quality setting to low

Interesting it doesn’t buffer if I watch on my phone….

500/500 fibre and my Disney+ occasionally buffers too. This is irrespective of whether I'm using the app on an Apple TV or smart TV app. I haven't used it on a PC through a browser much so can't comment if that method is better or not though it won't do 4k in a browser so unlikely to buffer in that scenario. I also get these annoying "no internet connection" messages in the app while it's happily streaming 4k. That seems to be an international issues that has been ongoing for months and not fixed yet as I found a similar complaint here : https://www.avforums.com/threads/disney-keeps-saying-no-internet-connection.2435430/

I don't have any problems with any other streaming services whatsoever... Hard to believe this is a product / service from a first world country.

Never seen this or buffering on nvshield pro, cisp 500/250 OS, wired/lan.

Ps the app we have in za isn't 1st world...

More like 1st world like.

On my side it's only occasional buffering, but the "disconnected" error messages are frequent. I know it's developed by Hotstar (India) but it was commissioned by a multi million dollar company in the USA which is first world, so logically the experience should be first world too. Going by the link on the previous post I shared, people in the USA (even wired connections) seem to also have the same issue, plus buffering to the point where they need to force quit and restart the app which means even that version of the app also has some of the same and maybe even worse problems.
