Just tested Disney + on TV

Content looks impressive . It has some teething problems though . Sometimes screen freezes up on login and browsing . In general it looks like it’s going to be very competitive and give the other streaming services a run for their money .

If I can add it to my Hulu subscription I’ll give it a bash.

Kids are certainly going to love it.

Seems like it

The library on Disney+ is astonishingly good. It's not going to be long before it catches up with Netflix IMO.

Tried signing up, but how do you pay for it?
Both my paypal account and CC were rejected as not being from the country I specified :( (Was using a VPN)

Its main problem:

Yeah it's gonna need a while to ramp up globally, but I've had it here in Netherlands since the trial and it's an amazing service. I really want to watch the Star Wars films in 4k hdr but my Apple TV isn't the 4k version.

can you maybe not purchase it via iTunes ( the same way we do the Hulu thing)

We use US iTunes account and VPN to purchase Hulu subscription, then on our Apple TV we loaded the app and boom ( need to use a site like offgamers to purchase USD iTunes vouchers). Will probably test Disney+ in the same manner, will be happy to get rid of Netflix as the quality on our side is freaking unbearable

I think what they should have done is at least allowed purchase/rental of their new "original" content globally. I understand all the contractual red tape they have with the existing content but they can decide how to distribute any new digital content.

Obviously it wouldn't work very well if they went worldwide with the subscription and most countries only got a handful of things the value would be terrible. If they however allowed you to rent by season or episode for their new content (for like $1.99 per episode or something) at least it would give everyone else the option to purchase it legally as now most people are just pirating it.

Working pretty well here (in the Netherlands, don't PM me)

Would really like to see The Mandalorian...... now where did I put that eye-patch? Aaarggh!

If your netflix quality is bad I can't imagine Disney+ being any better.

Yep, I've never had issues with Netflix streaming. 4K HDR all the way unless my fibre is having severe issues.

Disney+ could theoretically be worse as it's not officially supported here so you'll have to go through a VPN which will slow things down.
