Disney +

If your netflix quality is bad I can't imagine Disney+ being any better.
Hulu is perfect, go over to Netflix, pixelation of astronomic proportions, hop back to Hulu and life is great. Probably linked to the article over a year ago where ISP's are throttling Netflix traffic whether under strain or not

Our Hulu and Netfix are pixel perfect. Are you using a VPN or a smart DNS?

Weird. Me too and I have never had a pixellation issue with netflix.
Stranger Things got to a point where I didn't want to watch it, the action in the dark was so pixelated you could see nothing, then suddenly clear up for a bit, then go haywire again. Running on an Apple TV. on 10Mbps fibre, as stated, switch to Hulu and the quality is perfect with same speedtest results

Have you tried setting your smart dns to SA Netflix?

Kind of defeats the point of the DNS then :) Might just give it a go though and see if that helps

If you’re watching a show like ST local just makes more sense, right? On Getflix and smartdnsproxy it’s just a matter of toggling a switch anyway.

Getting errors after I login and try play anything , error 83 in browser and an error on Apple TV 4.
using smartdns so issue most likely with them I guess.

but that library is huge..

Here Are 5 Movies Disney Plus Put ‘Cultural’ Warnings On

Topline: As Disney+ continued to stream its archive of beloved movies and TV shows to its new nearly 10 million users, viewers discovered, in a sign of the times, that disclaimers warning of “outdated cultural depictions” have been added to a number of its classic animations.

Here are 5:

Dumbo (1941): Contains a scene of a group of cigar-smoking crows, with their leader named Jim Crow, referring to the racist segregation laws of the South, and voiced by a white actor.

Peter Pan (1953): Has been criticized for the way its Native American characters were portrayed, including when they sing the song “What Made The Red Man Red,” and for the way white characters appropriate headdresses and apparel.

Lady And The Tramp (1955): Features a pair of Siamese cats that sing “The Siamese Cat Song” in stereotypical Asian voices.

The Jungle Book (1967): Has been criticized for its orangutans, which are seen as a racist caricature of black Americans.

The Aristocats (1970): Has also been condemned for its Siamese cat, which plays the piano and talks about Asian food in a stereotypical accent.

Disney did not immediately respond to requests for comment on the disclaimers.

What to watch for: Some Disney+ movies also have tobacco usage warnings, including The Three Caballeros, Pinocchio, Hercules and The Sword & The Stone. Although TV and movies have had drug use warnings for decades, 2019 has seen an all-time high of teen vaping.

Key background: The pinnacle of Disney’s problematic movies would be 1946’s Song Of The South, set in the post-Civil War years below the Mason-Dixon Line. Despite winning an Oscar for the song “Zip-Ah-Dee-Doo-Dah,” Song Of The South was resoundly panned by the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People for its “impression of an idyllic master-slave relationship.” It has remained off the market and unavailable for over 30 years. (You can, however, catch the song and some of the movie’s characters at the Splash Mountain ride in Disney’s Florida, California and Tokyo theme parks.)

Tangent: Twitter users pointed out that Warner Brothers, which owns Looney Tunes, has its own share of racist content and acknowledged it with a stronger warning than Disney, but without editing cartoons, stating they “are being presented as they were originally created, because to do so otherwise would be the same as claiming these prejudices never existed.”

The warning;

THE CARTOONS YOU ARE ABOUT TO SEE ARE A PRODUCT OF THEIR TIME. THEY MAY DEPICT SOME OF THE ETHNIC AND RACIAL PREJUDICES THAT WERE COMMONPLACE IN AMERICAN SOCIETY. THESE DEPICTIONS WERE WRONG THEN AND ARE WRONG TODAY. WHILE THESE CARTOONS DO NOT REPRESENT TODAY'S SOCIETY, THEY ARE BEING PRESENTED AS THEY WERE ORIGINALLY CREATED, BECAUSE TO DO OTHERWISE WOULD BE THE SAME AS CLAIMING THESE PREJUDICES NEVER EXISTED.

FFS the level of offense these days is just mental. It's a story for entertainment. Can we complain that Captain America is not representative as he tries to save the world, not just 'Murica, or maybe Wonder Woman must be Wonder Gender neutral being. This PC thing is getting out of hand..... More and more the idea of removing warning labels seems like a great start.

Yeah look at people getting offended by a mild disclaimer being put in front of children's films that unquestionably depicted racist stereotypes, as a product of their times.

Finally got it setup, kids seem to love it.

Will check it out for myself later

Which Smart dns or VPN are you using to get good picture quality?

With Unlocator it plays without buffering, but never above 480p.
