Disney's 'Elemental,' which features 'non-binary' character, flops in opening weekend

One of the kids in my 7 years old`s class booked out the theater for his birthday party. The kids enjoyed it, and I even managed to sit throught it.

Must be honest this non-binary hoe ha is load of **** and totally blown out of proportion; I never even noticed it. It was not pushed down anyone's throat.
It's the old love story aka Romeo and Juliet in the case Water and Fire (without the suicide in the end) / The story is around a Male and Female falling in love - with a dad`s dream and expectations of his daughter thrown in for good measure.
Yeah, everyone just pushing their own agendas. Just as pathetic.

Definitely not The Flash. If you're not familiar with what's been happening, Ezra Miller - who should probably be in a mental health facility if not a jail cell - done a great job of souring the film's appeal and the film has absolutely tanked at the box office. It represents the death rattle of this incarnation of the DC franchise before Gunn reboots it.

DC as a whole has been a trainwreck, so that film wouldn't have been what Elementals was up against.

Spider-Man, yeah, that would've been a bit of a problem.
I get that The Flash "tanked" somewhat,it still beat Elemental for a while, these 3 movies were the top contenders for the weekend release, and thereafter - and definitely for my own eyeballs as well - point is,there was decent competition. Not everyone is going to go watch 3 movies in a weekend/month

Ay, it wasn't ''somewhat'', its's been a train derailment.

They had to readjust their opening weekend forecast after the opening night was way below what they anticipated, and its second week was brutal, Morbius-levels of brutal. It's a box office bomb.

They also barely done any roadshows/marketing with the titular character because Ezra was being a menace to society, so that already hurt it as it couldn't really generate buzz. Elementals suffered the same poor marketing.

Fair, even so my order of preference is Spiderman>Flash>Elemental just at a glance
