Disney's 'Elemental,' which features 'non-binary' character, flops in opening weekend

Lol I did that before Luca came out. Even ranked them all from best to worst. Cars 2 being the worst of the lot by far.

Top 5:
Toy Story 3
Incredibles
Up
Ratatouille
WALL-E
(Coco is #6 imo)

Bottom 5:
Onward
Bug's Life
Turning Red
Good Dinosaur

Cars 2
you hated Bugs Life ? Its one of the classics !

Turning Red is not for everyone.
I must say, I have ignored most of the sequels but I think I do need to relook at the Toy Story series.
Good Dinosaur was horrific so Cars2 must be really bad.

Good Dinosaur was really arb and flopped for me, same as Petes Dragon which I think is a disney title.

They need more stuff like Atlantis and Treasure Planet, good original(ish) stories.

Hated? No. After watching it again recently though it was way more childish than I remembered. And too much shouting.

Cars 2 is the only really terrible Pixar movie imo. Felt like a cheap, annoying made for tv movie. Avoid.

I briefly read the wikipedia it seems the non binary character is extremely minor. Like doesn't even feature in the plot summary

I suspect this is how they test the waters. Either a big song and dance is made (for the positive) or not much is made of it and they're encouraged to make the next role bigger.

All kinds of movies not doing great at the moment.
It's just not a great time for the movie industry right now.
People are not turning out in their droves for ANY movie right now.
*cough
Top Gun

*cough cough
Avatar 2

Main reason is that these movies are simply kak so not worth it on the big screen.

Watch how Mission Impossible smokes the box office in a few weeks.

Luckily, because of the writers strike, Hollywood can get rid of some of the dead wood responsible for these bad movies and TV shows.
I believe the studios' "force majeure" clauses, to cancel contracts, start coming into play in July.

Apple will simply bail them out. Who do you think put them back in their place. Pixar got traded to Disney for shares. Then Jobs took control of Disney. They have been closely tied ever since

Shame man, Disney should rather pay investors back, delist and close doors. Useless company.
Why? Ron Desantis still needs to take over them and "cancel wokeness"
At least let him try finish something for once

Dude.... this is literally about gays, furries and fairy dust....
Why do you care so much about Disney which you hate anyway? Just don't watch the movie...plenty of people haven't (me included).
