Disney's 'Elemental,' which features 'non-binary' character, flops in opening weekend

They are also not mentioning that this is a release by a major brand, Disney who spent $200m on production and probably half a Billion on marketing too. And, despite this a major flop.
Some movies just fail. Dreamworks, Illumination, Pixar, Disney, and more have all had flops.

Certainly seems like it's coming to pass ... what they predicted in 2020

And in fact, it's not just the Cinemas, Streaming services are also taking a hit.

Hasn't every Pixar movie of the last few years been a flop though?

Seen the trailer of next years' Elio and it looks terrible tbh.

All kinds of movies not doing great at the moment.
It's just not a great time for the movie industry right now.
People are not turning out in their droves for ANY movie right now.

Exactly this! It’s an industry problem, nothing specific to this movie or its supposed agenda.

The last interesting Pixar movie for me was Soul. I don't know maybe they just have run out of ideas.

The first few Pixar movies were great because they had them planned since the nineties. They were just waiting for the technology to be able to make them. Finding Nemo pushed water animation, Monsters Inc Sully's Fur.

I'd go as far as to say WALL-E was the last great Pixar movie. The first few Pixar movies were ground breaking in animation. Now they are just making movies because they have to I guess
