I have a problem with my x-box it only play 50hz games and not any 60hz. if i try to play a 60hz games it say my tv is not 60hz. I ve got the sinotec lcd 42 inch 1 y old ..... Will the hd component cable solve this problem ???
currently got the normal av cable ?? ?:confused::confused:

Firstly a resounding yes you should get yourself an HD cable of sorts, whatever your TV supports Component, VGA, HDMI - check take2 for prices

As a short term solution on the settings tab of the Dashboard there's "display" settings. If your cable is set to SD there should be options to set both 480p and 50hz/60hz.

Was it only the Pro console that came with th Component HD cables? Didn't the Arcade (old Core) also have those?

Yeah, thought so...

@hendrikvr: Read the other thread about Component vs. HDMI (should be around the top of the page, for now) on recommendations.

EDIT: ...and that thread was (incidentally?) also created by you! thread link
