.dll files removal

What? If you delete the registry file then windows doesn't boot because 99% of all settings are missing. Or maybe you mean registry key?

If you have a backup of the vista registry then you can import it via a dos prompt/recovery console.
i do have a back up of my registry in the documents folder of my vista drive
but how do i import them via xp or c-prompt:confused:

Can't import them from XP. You need to be in the *Vista* command prompt or the *Vista* recovery console. If you try it from XP then XP will die and horrible death.

reg import C:\IDeletedSomethingCriticalHere.reg

or for help:

reg import /?

Just run HijackThis http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/programs.php#hijackthis

Under advanced somewhere there is an option to delete files on reboot. I used this tool to successfully remove one of those nasty .dll trojans that had hooked itself into explorer.

Btw - If it HAS hooked in to explorer, make sure you launch HijackThis and THEN kill the explorer.exe tasks. You will lose your desktop, but you will at least be able to remove the registry keys (using hijackthis) and they won't come back while explorer (and the .dlls) are terminated. You can then set the files to be deleted on reboot.
