I guess if you have WHM/cPanel installed you can edit your DNS settings in there as well, if not, Cloudflare will also do.
Your DNS does not need to move from where it is currently hosted.. you simply edit the DNS zone at your existing DNS provider to update your website A and mail records to the new IP addresses..Would one need a separate DNS server or does that come bundled with Cpanel ?
If you are hosting with a company they already have a DNS server setup. cPanel is only the control panel and allows you to edit your DNS records. You can always use Cloudflare and change your Nameservers to the ones they provide for full DNS control over your domains, its Free.Would one need a separate DNS server or does that come bundled with Cpanel ?
hau, since when is cPanel the only control panel?cPanel is only the control panel and allows you to edit your DNS records.

That makes more senseNo no no, you read that wrong. I said that cPanel allows you to edit your DNS records. In this instance I was only referring to cPanel because that was the question being asked.
I guesss the part I need clarity on is, does Cpanel setup your Bind as well, and if not, how does it update your DNS records if my Bind is on another machine ?
