Saix DNS servers in Cape town ???

Hey guys,

Im in Tableview area of cape town and if I do not use OPENDNS and set it to automatically assign, I keep getting timeouts ...

Could anyone suggest DNS servers ???

Thank you for those.

If I am on a saix account will I be able to use IS servers. That Saix DNS page is funky ...

i actually have another question.

Been using RS with my saix account and my webafrica (IS) local account. Even if NO data went through my int account , it will still log some data so I figured some routing isnt happening properly.

The only way to do this would be to put my local accounts details into my router, restart it and then use the accoutn to download locally.

Would it not be better two use "Dial up ADSL" and then connect the router to my PC via USB or could I jsut put a fake username / password into my router and then create two dial up accounts, one for INt and one for local.

What is the best practise here?

I have a MEga 100WR which has minimal functionality ...

Thanks

whats your problem with open DNS just out interest

ps afaik mega 100 cant do half bridge and one it is in bridge then no need for fake accounts in modem just make ur 2 adsl dial up accounts and connect accordingly

What details msut I leave in the router? Can I leave it blank? Do I have to connect it via USB now?

No problem with OPendns jsut when capped you cannot access their servers ...

settting mega 100 in bridge mode log on to modem 10.0.0.2

advance->wan->quickstart-> change "type" to bridged click apply then save settings;)
