There's is building going on where I work and near my father's place. In both locations the Cell-C signal is steadily getting worse, is there somewhere I can report this?

Is it data or voice? CellC recently erected a new tower 250m from my house and the signal improved 200%. However, frequent disconnections (20 - 30 a day) spoil the otherwise excellent speed

At my father's place it's just data, he has an antenna aimed at the Cell-C tower up on the hill but now a house is being built further up the hill between him and the tower so we're looking for a different tower to aim at.

Where I work it's mainly voice and SMS, my phone used to show full bars 3G, but right now I have one bar and it often disappears.

My mother lives in an area that is low-lying flanked by two high-lying areas barely a kilometre or two away from her on either side. The two other areas have impeccable signal strength while her area has a very poor strength, if she's lucky the most she gets on her phone are three bars but for the most part her phone picks up one to two bars and almost always switches to Vodacom for roaming.

Interestingly, both Vodacom and MTN have erected antennas around her area and both my sister and brother don't have any problems when they visit except, of course, for me.

Do you really not have a department that deals with these kind of problems?

It's been a week since I sent you the details and I haven't received a reference number or any other feedback.

Good day

I have sent it.
Remember this is due to building coming up effecting signal.
I sent it to planning to see if any thing can be done with the roll out.
Unfortunately this will take a while for feedback.
If would like to logged a complaint like a normal signal complaint.
I will escalate it as well.
I have PM you a template.

Regards

I have send several emails to CellC about coverage in my area but never receive any replies. The other day I received a reply about an email I send to CellC stating : " Sent: Wednesday, September 29, 2010 6:37:48 PM (UTC+02:00) Harare, Pretoria

was deleted without being read on Monday, April 02, 2012 10:05:46 AM (UTC+02:00) Harare, Pretoria.
"

So it takes them 18 months to tell me that my email has been deleted without been read. It will most probably take 18 years before I might get coverage

@Cell_C: I still haven't heard anything. How long does it normally take to get a response?

I have discovered that the tower that I used to attach to is actually to the North-East of where I work. The construction is happening to the South. I'm now thinking the construction may not have anything to do with the signal getting worse. Can you check if something happened to tower 4251 please?
