Hmm I most likely know you. Now wife and I were part of the furniture on the scene back then. DJs I remember Emrick, Gary, Alan and Donvanne. Emmrick I saw later playing in London. Gary moved to Ireland last I heard. Alan Dubai or something. Donvanne no clue, she fell off the planet. This was early 2000s though.Been doing it for longer than 23 years, but not counting my years playing Industrial / EBM in the underground scene in the later 90's

Do people run their DJ sets using their DAW's?And 1 cdj is more expensive than a Mac pro with Ableton live installed, where you have unlimited channels, effects and rhythmic goodies since it's a fully featured daw with a nice live performer thing built in.
I never really understood why Pioneer's are so ridiculous.

CloZee runs the whole thing in Ableton using a midi controller. Seeing as a lot of tracks are hers or remixes she's done I think she might have stems (various parts of the track like drums, vocals etc) isolated and launching them separately rather than just straight up switching between two tracks.Do people run their DJ sets using their DAW's?
