Do Not Use Afrihost , A Warning .

Gian is definitely still with the company and is still hands on with all aspects of the company.
To be honest, if he is or isn't, thankfully, it is meaningless to me. I am free of afrihost. Free, I tell you. Exceptionally happy to be free! :D

Sorry to hear that McT, give us a shout if you need anything from our side.

Afrihost is the worste choice you can make when looking for a lte provider . They advertise falsely which is illegal, do not trust them when they say you will have coverage and if you are unfortunate enough to have to try get a refund they will lie to you constantly. Their agents follow a script when dealing with customers that goes as follows:
Appologise -> agree with you -> sympathise -> offer assistance by putting notes on their system and escalating your case . Same responce every time but the cannot or will not do what they say .Do not make the mistake of signing up with them you will regret it .

Honestly, I can't take anything you say seriously - especially the parts about your communication "not being the problem".

No paragraphs, appalling spelling and incoherent rambling posts. Typically a nightmare client that doesn't understand what is explained them and "it" then gets enraged/whines as a result.

No.

I am also having issues with Afrihost, completely poor customer service, they don't answer tickets and provide no feedback to the progress or what is being done ... you just left in the dark. Their hosting installed my SSL certificate on the 22nd and same time broke the sitebuilder link to my documents so can not longer edit my website. Support has done nothing to fix it, and no response to my tickets on the 25th.

Oh no, that is horrible. A SSL change shouldn't remove access to the site builder. There sounds like there is something horribly wrong here. Please send me the ticket reference from your conversation with our Hosting Team and I will look into this for you.

Hi, thanks for the message. The initial ticket where SSL was installed when I had the first issue when I could not even get into sitebuilder was PKD-142-15254, hosting team did manage to then restore access to sitebuilder. I then logged a follow up on this ticket that I could not access Sitebuilder link to My Documents Thu, 24 Jan 2019 at 16:33 , got no reply or automated reply that ticket was re-opened. I opened a new ticket, PVI-846-40226 and again got no reply. After calling a few times and 3 Whatsapp conversations apparently support team opened a new ticket TKH-433-14286, but again no feedback so I do not know issue, time frame or what is being done. To make matters worse support give different feedback each time. I really do no have time to get into that, I think even if something is going to take a while it would be nice to at least get acknowledged on your ticket.

@AfriNatic @AfriMan Another day gone by and absolutely no response to my ticket from Afrihost.

All schools have English as a subject and it's the official language of SA.
It's not my first language either but that is no excuse for not being able to spell.

I am sorry that I have only gotten back to you now. I have gone through your account and I can see that the Hosting Team is working with CM4All directly. We did reach out to our Dev Team and SysAdmin Team and it looks like it isn't something we can fix on our end and this why we are working with CM4All.

I know that this is taking so long and it is horrible to wait so long. I can assure you that we are doing everything we can to try and get this sorted out. This matter has been escalated as high as it can go at this time.
