Do the right thing, Microsoft

I found the IT guy that installs clutter on our machines. Also any IT guy worth his salt will know they can open more than one window of the same browser and you don't need separate browser installs to do so.

Munch as a IT Administrator I can tell you , you need two browsers to troubleshoot, it is vital to distinguish compatibility problems, and aids you in checking if the problem is not related to a locally cached website without having to clear out the users entire cache.

If you are a webdev you need as many as possible to test websites, or at very least the top 5 browsers.

And since when is having a spare browser clutter, it takes up less than a 100meg , and the only noticeable thing for the end user is the shortcuts (which you normally remove and just leave the one in the start menu so its out of the way)

I also have 10 or so browsers installed to test compatibility and user related queries, I don't see how that is clutter or bloatware.

As an IT administrator you do need multiple of most things, just for convenience or testing purposes

I can't even name 10 browsers...

I got IT all ......

You don't get it. I do IT work for a living. I test and build computers and repair them. I do software configuration and installation. I test people's accounts for them. And I do it often enough that having several spare browsers installed is a necessity.
Seems like you need several spare work / test machines or two or three
Wipe and reboot every day with an image server
You could even use it as a thin client ( no need to wipe and reboot -- just reboot )
In fact you could set you OWN machine up as a thin client (with several different profiles -- even different operating systems -- selectable at boot )
In fact the options are limitless -- PXE

You did say you were an IT "guru" ????

;)
