Yes, all the time. Normally for stuff I can't source locally but sometimes it's just cheaper than buying the product locally.

I am considering it for sourcing products not locally available.

Yes, J7 Samsung Prime dual sim - landed cost R3045 including import costs.
Cheap flash - landed cost 545 including import costs (1 week delivery)

Amazon is great for smaller stuff.

You'll find some decent savings compared to local retailers if you take some time to browse and compare:

Logitech G933 Wireless Headset:

Amazon - R 2586.14 (Including their shipping and import costs.)
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0148NPJ78/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A1YZCYBH4NMBU9&psc=1

vs

Takealot - R 4,299
https://www.takealot.com/logitech-g...ireless-7-1-surround-gaming-head/PLID45277102

Rare - R 3,613 (Out of stock)
https://raru.co.za/electronics/4267...um-wireless-7-1-surround-sound-gaming-headset

Loot - R3,548
https://www.loot.co.za/product/logitech-g933-artemis-spectrum-gaming-headset-black/hblb-3689-g010

With the exception of Wootware not being too far off on this specific product:

Wootware - R2,799.00
https://www.wootware.co.za/logitech...rround-sound-wireless-rgb-gaming-headset.html

Yes... used to buy more from Chinese online suppliers, but since Amazon has introduced tools that make it easier for me to only search items that actually ships to my location in South Africa, I have started buying more and more through them instead.

Nope. Wondering if I'm missing out.
Depends on what you're buying. Oculus Rift CV1 is about half price compared to any local retailer/etailer, for example. I'm sure many other things are the same.

Depends on real cost diff to sourcing it locally once international shipping is included ,and whether t I can get it cheaper/more reliably/faster on Ebay.uk where I've shopped since 2002...
