Three times a day. I refuse any type of meal that does not include meat.

Yes, I was vegetarian for 10 years but went back to being omnivore because I was getting unhealthy. A healthy vegetarian diet in SA is also more expensive than an omnivorous one hence in SA, it's associated with the middle class.

I feel bad about it sometimes. Maybe I will go back, maybe not but hopefully lab-grown meat becomes wide-scale in our lifetime.
You should speak to @TheChamp ...he claims it is incredibly easy to grow and farm all your own vegetables.

You surely cannot get healthier and cheaper than that ?!?!

I went through a little "vegan" phase where I got brainwashed by a bunch of hippie surfers.
It didn't last more than 2 weeks till I realised this is utterly retarded and went to Spur to devour a steak. Life's been good since.

Thing that affected me most was a school visit to the abattoir in Botswana as a kid.
One kid cried, some of us felt disturbed for a few hours. Next meat meal - ate it without a problem.

There are a few things you don't want to see, ever—most food manufacturing plants. Abbatoirs, sausage, polony and vienna factories are probably the worst.

The thing is, the animals don't suffer. They did look and sound nervous though, but not sure about that now.
