I cycle to work and back, I cause road rage... ;)
This is true, when I used to cycle to work, pedestrians were my worst enemy, they generally have zero road instinct, walk like they are drunk, and for some bizarre reason, always gravitate towards you instead of away from you (even when they see you coming 100's of meters away).

On the road leaving my house, there are 5, 4-way stops. I had a car behind me whose driver would hoot each time I stopped at the stop street. At the 5th intersection (quite a busy one, so he could not pass), I got out and went to the back of the car and looked under the bumper. This driver leant out the window and said "what the f*** are you doing?" I answered that there was a funny noise at the back and I wanted to see if there was anything trapped there.

Road rage only makes sense in first world countries where most people obey road rules. "Punish" the few idiots.

Here, it does not make sense at all, unless you want to fight with 80 percent of the other road users.

Rather focus on anticipating what they're going to do on the road and get yourself to your destination in one piece

Used to rage quite a bit when it was really obnoxious driving but much calmer these days. Also trolled with taxis quite a bit trying to cut through on yellow lanes and blocked them, but now it's not worth it, just let them be.

These days I just have a flip off and laugh, most recent case was with a uber driver who cut me off and slowed down brake checking me and we ended up flipping each other off doing this dance with big smiles and eventually packed out laughing just how stupid it was.

Good test for his blood-pressure though

I also HATE when people hoot at me for stopping at a stop sign, or at a failed robot, or when there's a red traffic light that they want me to blow through.

That is so very true! That's something that's continuously been amazing and puzzling me throughout the 30+ years I have been cycling to work and back.

depends on the situation, honestly, if its a Taxi, just try find a place to let them get past me,
and move on with my life, not worth confronting them
if its a BMW or SUV, drive slower and piss them off more, and eventually when Ive had my fun, let them past.

really need to grow up sometimes, would probably be a menace if I drove something faster.
