Normally default is 0000. MTN at least.
Appparently if I try again it will break things.

But it’s FNB so I’m sure it had one printed on the card….which is then quite funny as I’ve never been asked for it or if I did it was once off.

You had a cellular telephone with a SIM back in 1985? Just how the **** old are you?
I am in my twenties, I was only making a point about sim-cards being old fashioned, and that plastic is bad for the environment.

Some say they only look like they are in their twenties due to the use of 'plastic', some say they are so old that they were around before plastic was even invented, all we know is they are known as The @epah...

My phone has an eSim and needs me to look at it to make it work

A bit like the wife in some ways

when my wife was hijacked ,they put her sim ( no pin)into another phone and made 76k worth of purchases off the web ,all the OTP go to the sim and were all accepted .most of the OTP were used for delivery like eats places and clothes stores on account ,some were for data and airtime ,all in all 46 k was stolen ,the rest were intercepted by MTN and the card was blocked ,all the day before christmas .it took 7 months for the banks to refund ,without a sim pin its easy to do .

Once everyone is on eSims this won’t be a thing.

This is what I'm afraid of but it wouldn't help if they did a SIM swap would it?

It would help beacause if you do a SIM swap you will get a SMS on your current SIM with a OTP and you cant get access to the SMS's without the SIM PIN.

Unless they have a buddy that works at the mobile carrier.
