Still using old versions of Office, not moving to the subscription model.

If I have to I will start using Google Sheets. M$ can get stuffed.
 
Yup, great product, at an totally reasonable price, and as with most other people 1TB cloud space just makes it worth it. This is how you fight piracy, it will totally not be defeated but I am sure its reduced for office.
 
Yep. Have it on my pc, tablet and smartphone and use One drive so all docs are in the cloud and accessible from everywhere. Other free systems seem to have compatibility issues with documents that clients make using MS Office so while it isnt cheap, it makes business easier.
 
Quite surprised at the number of yesses. Using office 2013 at work. Refuse to rent software. Use libreoffice at home

We're living in an age of sharing economies and subscriptions, so not sure why you have a problem with paying for access to a good or service instead of outright owning them.

I've never seen Office 365 as 'renting' Office software anyway. Updates have changed the apps a lot over the years (always latest version obviously), and 1TB OneDrive storage single-handedly justifies the price.

Buying the latest Office without a subscription costs a little over R3k last I checked. That's 8.5 years worth of the fees I've been paying for Office 365, and will quickly not be up to date. And has no OneDrive storage.
 
No. I am happy with Libreoffice (open source and has very good compatibility with Word and Excel documents) and I use Mozilla Thunderbird (also opensource) for my small business operation and they are just fine. Microsoft's software is too expensive for my needs, and really, "improving" over the years means shuffling the buttons around and just irritating and confusing people. Dropbox gives me free space to backup my files too, so I really do not see the need to pay for Microsoft's service.

Yes, but my company pays for it as it is a work account. I only use it for Outlook and Teams.
 
I love the Office 365 Home subscription. Allowing me to share my subscription with up to 5 users. (If I'm not mistaken)
 
Libre Office + Thunderbird. Its free, it can do everything I ever wanted with office package and it got old good classic interface. I never get used to this tiles and ribbons based newer versions of MS Office and simply hate to use them even for free.
 
I have three! One from work, one from Unisa, as a student/alum, and one that I pay for myself. All Business versions.

I think that this is one of the best things that Microsoft has ever done. And the solution as a whole is getting better and better!
 
Yes, Office 365 Home, excellent value for money.
Have family laptops and tables also running Office 365 with the option to share or install on 5 PC,s, 5 Tablets and 5 mobile devices.
Not to mention the 1 TB per person of Onedrive cloud storage.
