For the last four years, I have been living a pretty minimal life, being as self-sufficient as possible. I use my crypto trading profits to cover basic expenses such as rent. I have ADHD and tend to start too many projects at the same time...

I built a 50L still, I collect rainwater, I built a 40m2 veggie patch, I grow enough veggies/herbs for a few people (I live by myself), what doesn't get used gets turned into sauce/preserved/dried. Make my own medicine, tinctures, and ointments, make organic fertilizer, grow plants hydroponically indoors, grow mushrooms, make cider, wine, rum, and brandy.

Maintaining all of the above is pretty much a full-time job! Long story short, I suffered burnout at my last job, which was affecting my health, so I decided to take a break and see how much I could accomplish in a couple of years. I hope to turn one of my hobbies into a profitable business in the not-so-distant future.

You cannot keep chocolate. Due to the molecular structure, chocolate is very adept at absorbing smells, even through multiple layers of aluminium foil.

Friend kept some chocolate in his outside shed and had stored some pool chemicals in the same room. Within 2 weeks the chocolate tasted horrible.

We thought it might have been the heat, but the shed has a ceiling and is well insulated

So best to eat it. A bit too much though makes you feel billious
Eating too many Lindt Balls too fast and too often can produce a grasping type of disposition.

Playing in seniors tennis tournaments around the world. Also visiting unique tennis courts, so far, the one closest to 0,0 lat, long; northernmost one in the world, most remote court, highest altitude court, most difficult to access in terms of visa, security, etc.

I play trumpet
My wife plays piano, organ, saxophone and oboe

Before lockdown I used to conduct a choir of about 500 senior citizens, we used to have a practice every 2 weeks and once a year would have a big concert. Attendance was about 1500 people.

Used to do a couple of hymns and then mostly lekker old songs like Elvis, Beatles, etc.
