Do you live alone?

I have never lived alone although I like being alone in my space. Lived in communes, with friends and since being married, have always had someone living with us that needs a place or helping a friend out. I mostly enjoy it however, I can get grumpy when things are moved in the house or things are used and I'm not told that its finished (and I usually find out at 11pm at night when someone is hunting for a loo roll). Most of the time it's structured chaos. It suits our family :D

I live alone. I've shared houses with other people before, and I prefer living alone. Have lived alone for most of the last 5 years. But then, I'm the quiet contemplative type that studies part time and doesn't enjoy clubs. Wouldn't want people around me all the time, home is where I come to retreat from being exposed to them all day at work.

yes. Was interesting but damn its annoying doing everything yourself

Yes.

I only go to sleep when I am about to fall asleep. When I am not tired i can use ipad in bed or do whatever I want.
Waking up and going to bed alone I hate.

Lived with mate for 1 1/2 years, was awesome until cabin fever set in.
moved out and lived alone for 6 months - was way happier but got lonely towards the end
moved in with a different mate for 6 months - best move i ever did, ahhhhhh the rave cave...

now live "alone", strange to describe right now.

Yes, have always been alone.

Yes, I have picked up some bad habits that will be difficult to drop when I move in with a gf/wife. I'm so use to doing my own thing, going where I want, when I want. I will have to learn to think in terms of two.

Nope, always lived with someone. Aside from short term stints like house sitting or vac work I have always been in a house with other people living there. I do well on my own though and am fine with solitude at night. Allows me to read or play games undisturbed. Still, I can't imagine being alone now that I am married with kids.

I live alone, have lived alone for most of the time since I moved out of my mother's house.

Hasn't negatively affected me, I still love hanging out with friends and meeting new people but what I love is that I can go home to peace and quiet.

Although I live in a security complex I'm still freaked out by someone breaking into my home in the middle of the night.

I moved out when I was 18 courtesy of a f-ed up system that thought I would be better off fighting a cause I couldn't support. From then, I moved in and out several times due to varying circumstances. In the early 90s, I shared a house with my brother. Weed for breakfast and lunch beer till supper.

On several occasions I have lived alone. Does it make me anti-social? I doubt it very much. I get very easily bored by my own company and when I have lived alone, the abode has merely been the place where I slept. The rest of the time, I was out and about. And incredibly irresponsible.

100% the same as me!

I get incredibly bored, incredibly easily when I'm alone and the one year I lived alone I only used my flat for sleeping or shagging someone I met. :)

I lived alone for a long period of time - about 6 years - when I first started working. It was bliss, I love being alone.

Some people are just born loners, others cannot go 30 minutes without company.

My son lives with me but I'm with you on the bad habits. I have ended relationships because "we" need to do something or go somewhere. Currently I have a friend with benefits who stays for 4 hours max and then goes and does her own thing. Suits both of us for now.

I've lived alone in the past. I'm basically an introvert and I enjoy my own company but at the same time I'm happy if my house is full of people. Inactivity in a house is lifelessness for me.

I guess you have to try living alone at least once in your life.

when you start living with someone else, after having lived alone for along time, remember to wear clothes around the house.
