Do you live alone?

Living alone requires a certain amount of maturity and discipline in order to offer the greatest benefits.

I can keep my house meticulously clean, and it generally stays that way unless i have people over.

Having a comforting, clean, functional living environment can open up many possibilities for enhanced productivity, energy, personal development and overall happiness.

It can also be a teacher. Many people are afraid to be alone, but if you approach it correctly, it can greatly enhance the types of people and energy you invite into your life.

So i guess I'd say: Yes, I've lived alone for many years on and off, to the point which i prefer it. My parents are with me at the moment for a few months, which has its own frictions, and it is quite a test for me to once again relinquish a lot of the control which i had over my environment.

And yes, it changed me forever and allowed me incredible freedoms and personal growth opportunities.
This, my place is spotless 90% of the time. When my boys come over on "my" weekends it's a total fokop. Till Monday when my trusty domestic shows up. First thing I do is greet her and then apologize for the state of the house.

I am too far down the line of living alone. This is my space. People ask me how I stay in this house alone and I just look at them with a confused expression on my face. I bought the place when I was single. Got pregnant then got married so had a wife(urgh) and 2 kids in this house. Then they moved out.

I lived with my folks during covid, which is the time we split up and she left me for my friend and moved in with him. Had a bit of an adjustment moving back into my place, alone having "lost" my boys as they moved 600km away.

You really do "find" yourself when living alone.

If you can't be happy alone you have a problem.

I've never lived alone. When I moved out of my parents' house, I shared a flat with a mate, then I got BF so I was never alone. Bought my first place and he was there most of the time so he just moved in and and now we're married so can't get rid of him now
