Other - Kind of wish I still smoked, Just over a month nicotine free. I've come to realise I cant just have one cigarette or allow nicotine into my system at all otherwise its a vicious cycle, (after 15 years or so of smoking and as of the past few years vaping on and off) I do think, okay let me take a "something" break, its like a empty feeling when I grab my coffee or feel like I've worked hard and deserve a reward, but I’m no longer waking up with a swollen tongue, canker sores, a rough throat etc, my body is no longer constantly craving a substance which I suppose is good and kind of freeing in a way. I cant however help but feel like its a matter of time before I’m smoking again, there’s a constant feeling of "when will I give in" or "what kind of stressful event is going to trigger my relapse", for context throughout the 15 or so years I've stopped before but never longer than a couple days so I guess this is progress.

Sorry for the essay.
If you get that craving pop a peppermint in your month,it apparently helps.

I quit when I was in standard 3 (Grade 5 for the newer humans). Smoked, most likely puffed, 3 cigarettes on one day and then decided it's not for me.
It most likely means I never started, but technically I quit on the day I started.

Your name suggests you still use it for mix ;-)

Using cannabis and tobacco together can be very bad for your health.

As per the rules, I did vote other. I smoked lots of mary jane, some dmt, and I tried a Winston once. Disgusting.

I'm still hiding in the corner.
Nothing destroys the sense of self like one puff and you're in another universe. I am appreciative of the fact that it's only 12 minutes. What scares me is Ayahuasca. I don't think I could last hours. I mean don't get me wrong, going to the amazon to do it just once is on the bucket list.

I started again after voting no when this poll came out, no self discipline :(
Me too. 1 puff away from a box a day.

I must have stopped and re-started 5 times, each for about 6 months. Cutting down for years first made the difference, like my body had to learn not to have crave memory.

But still careful, easy to start again.

I'm an expert in quitting.

I can see how it has a 99% success rate in curing heroin addiction.
