yes - 2 actually. Well, 1 is an iMac (3 years old) used mainly for Video and Photo editing. I have 1 other Linux based system used for some electronics prototyping and development and testing (IoT). Also have 3 laptops - 2x old (3 years+) and 1 is used by my daughter and 1 is used as a media centre. The last one is a Mac Book Pro which I see as my primary computer - travels everywhere with me and I use it for both work and personal stuff.

I used it for gaming, browsing and youtube. its my main work horse.

Desktop wins every time. Much more horsepower, 27" monitor, 7 button mouse, ergonomic keyboard and tablet for photo editing. Laptops and tablets are just gimmicks and marketing. If I need to read or send a super urgent email when I am out and about, my 4" smartphone is fine.

Most definitely! Permanently use a pc at home. And at the office a alienware desktop replacement, I think that still counts as a desktop. Hehe. And the new 1000 series Nvidia gpu's are going to make desktops mainstream again imo. Used for gaming and work, mostly server maintenance and a but load of vm's everywhere. Includes test environments at home. On more than one pc in fact. And I even us an old gaming pc as a storage server now. Thanx to freenas ;)

Yes, desktop at work, laptop at home. But until recently has been desktop for both...

Desktop all the way, can upgrade/customize easier, more powerful, and selling value much higher then a laptop.

Definitely, in fact I use 2 PCs, each with 24" monitor. Used for work, as well as the occasional video/sport stream.

Yes ... desktop is way faster for CAD programs. Laptop screen is too small for CAD. PC is easier to adapt to software requirements.

Desktop at home. Used for everything from entertainment to work

Like you just need the the space and big screen and the perfect sized keyboard. Its just way more comfortable than the tiny laptop.
