Do you support genetically modified plants (for food) or are you concerned about the long-term impact of “super plants” which are resistant to most diseases and weather conditions?

Meh. That's debatable. Non GMO bro's can perform just as good.GMO's are the world-saving, hunger-busting bro's we need.
Ridiculous strawman.Everything we eat is genetically modified, if you mean that the current genes are different than the original, sometimes radically so.
This is what common fruit looked like before we started domesticating them, the first form of genetic modification.
here's the definition in case you are still confused. This is the reason why big agricultural companies can patent their seeds.A genetically modified organism (GMO) is any organism whose genetic material has been altered using genetic engineering techniques. The exact definition of a genetically modified organism and what constitutes genetic engineering varies, with the most common being an organism altered in a way that "does not occur naturally by mating and/or natural recombination".
Check out this shop. Buddy of mine runs it: https://www.livingseeds.co.za/No. It taste like crap.
I miss having access to real organic and fresh vegetables and fruits not pumped full of stuff or modified. It's like drinking Ricoffy compared to fresh ground beans. I can imagine even coffee beans can be modified. But I am not gonna grow my own Coffea at this stage...
Awesome. When I start my veggie garden again I will check it out.Check out this shop. Buddy of mine runs it: https://www.livingseeds.co.za/
Heirloom fruits and veggies is their "thing". As in - they way they're supposed to be, for the most part. I've had some of the stuff he sells - it's amazing to taste something that tastes like it's supposed to taste.
That seems to be a result of all the pesticides and chemical fertilizers they use killing off soil's biology that feeds the plant.No. It taste like crap.
