That seems to be a result of all the pesticides and chemical fertilizers they use killing off soil's biology that feeds the plant.

The result of bad monoculture agricultural practices, rather than that the plant is GMO.

I think that's more likely.

No , GMOs long term effects can be devastating , selective enhancement is the way to go at lest it will not have animal or some fckt up gene in it that will turn people it to god knows what .

2) There is no compelling evidence of any real adverse effects of growing them.
